Aleksandra was raised in Sydney after her family migrated from Serbia when she was two years old. Although she has spent most of her life in Australia, Aleksandra has traveled extensively across Europe throughout her studies have also spent a semester of exchange studying international law at the University of Vienna as part of her law degree with Macquarie University. 

Aleksandra has completed a Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics & International Relations with Macquarie University in addition to a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the College of Law. Aleksandra was admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2018. 

Following her admission, Aleksandra worked within the employ of large insurers before moving into practice as both a Registered Migration Agent and Solicitor in migration law. Since then, Aleksandra has worked for different firms throughout Sydney and gained significant experience in migration matters from lodgement of applications through to representation on appeal with the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Aleksandra has successfully assisted clients with a broad range of matters developing a particular specialty with PIC 4007 Health Waivers having successfully argued many cases including a win in favor of a child with Downs Syndrome whose family was initially refused permanent residency. 

For Aleksandra, each case presents a new opportunity to help and assist someone in need or looking to start a new life. She approaches each matter with empathy, diligence, and care priding herself on developing rapport with her clients. 

In her spare time, you can find Aleksandra playing tennis, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends. Aleksandra also speaks fluent Serbian, Croatian and basic Russian.
